Tribeca acquires Suma Emergencias

The private capital fund has acquired the company Suma Emergencias, which provides medical homecare to 45,000 registered users in Bogotá.

In the deal, Tribeca Partners acquired the companies Emergencia Médica Integral (EMI), which include EMI Colombia, EMI Antioquia, Trasmédicos, Médicos en Casa, EMI Ecuador, and EMI Venezuela.

It also acquired a majority share of Unidad Coronaria Médica (UCM), a company that operates in Uruguay and Brazil.

The company also acquired 75% of the women´s apparel manufacturers Armonía and OndadeMar in Colombia.

Tribeca Partners was founded by, among other investors, Luc Gerard, the president of the investing firm InterBolsa and former president of Philip Morris Colombia.
