Alvaro Cadavid

Alvaro Cadavid, is responsible for Spencer Stuart�s activities in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Central America and Caribbean, he joined Spencer Stuart�s in 1998. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Alvaro spent five years as managing director of another international executive search firm, where he was on the board and helped build the firm's presence in Brazil and Argentina. Earlier, he worked for eight years at Tasa International, establishing the firm's presence in Colombia. Alvaro's more than 43 years of professional experience include senior management and finance positions at Hunter-Douglas Latin America, The Dow Chemical Company, Sandvik and Exxon. He began his career at Petroleos Mexicanos, in M�xico. Alvaro speaks English, Spanish and French. He has a B.A. in economics from the University of the Americas in Mexico.
