Jaime Ramírez
Investment Director
Mr. Ramirez joined Tribeca in July 2012 as Investment Director for the Consumer and Retail sectors. He is an expert in Strategy and Corporate Finance, particularly Mergers & Acquisitions.
Prior to joining Tribeca, Mr. Ramirez was Executive Director of BBVA's Corporate Finance team in Colombia, where he was in charge of overseeing the origination and execution of M&A and ECM transactions in all non-utility sectors. Before BBVA, Mr. Ramirez worked at McKinsey & Company's New York office, where for nearly 5 years he advised several Fortune 500 companies in the Consumer and Pharmaceutical industries. Previously, Mr. Ramirez worked for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in New York and for Violy, Byorum & Partners, a strategic advisory firm headquartered in New York that specialized in M&A in Latin America.
Mr. Ramirez holds a Bachelor in Economics from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia, and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York City.
